The Dugout is a state-of-the-art baseball and softball training facility located in downtown Kingsport, Tennessee. Our 16,000 sq. ft. climate-controlled turfed training area includes 11 batting cages with retractable nets, nine pitching mounds, an open area for infield and outfield drills, tee stations, and more. Cutting edge HitTrax and Rapsodo technology are available for players seeking hitting or pitching assessments.
About Our Owner: Cory Martin was born and raised in Kingsport, Tennessee. The Dobyns-Bennett alum’s passion for baseball led him to play both junior and Division 1 level collegiate baseball. Cory developed The Dugout to offer baseball and softball players in the Tri-Cities a cutting-edge facility where they can train, develop, and receive the coaching necessary to improve their game. Cory lives in Kingsport with his wife of 13 years, Carrie, and their two kids.
